A unique event in Brattleboro this weekend is considered one of the top ten summer events in Vermont.  It's the Strolling of the Heifers Weekend, running Friday through Sunday. Yes, it's a real stroll of heifers, with nearly a hundred calves, groomed and decorated leading a parade on Saturday.  They'll be followed by Scottish Highlands, mules, donkeys, baby goats, and alpacas. The parade ends at the Brattleboro common with the celebrity milking contest.
