Wandering Livestock Lead to Goshen Court Case

Wandering livestock are the focus of a court battle in Northampton.  A Hampshire Superior Court Judge is considering the fate of a herd of cattle and swine that live on a 600 acre piece of property in Goshen.  The town has gone to court to try to force the owners of the livestock to keep the animals from wandering onto neighboring properties and Route nine.  Goshen officials say the cows and pigs continually leave the property, wreaking havoc on neighbors' yards, with one report of a cow chip ending up in someone's pool.
