The WHMP Pets of the week are Friesian and Falabella, 8 week old spayed female Tortoiseshell kittens! We are two beautiful sisters who just arrived back at Dakin after being in foster care for almost one month. We needed the extra time to grow up so that we could enter Dakin’s adoption program to find our new home or homes.
There are several kittens at the adoption centers in Leverett and Springfield who would like nothing more than to share life with loving families or individuals.
Maybe you can’t make the long term commitment that comes with adopting an animal but perhaps you would like to help out in some way on a shorter term basis. Have we got the deal for you! Why not foster? Being a foster caregiver gives you all the joy of having an animal but it’s only temporary while we grow up…with mom who does most of the work in many cases and sometimes without where we might need just a little time to be old enough for adoption. Fostering is usually a couple of weeks to a couple of months. And the best part: You Save Lives!
