Deerfield, Sunderland, and Whately have taken the next step after a report recommends the towns combine their ambulance services.  The three communities are now exploring a deal that would lead to Franklin County's first regional EMS department.  A recent consultant report says the towns could improve the quality of their EMT services, and may-be even save some money.
