A man who drowned at Hampton Ponds Saturday has been identified as 46-year old Nicolae Ulinici of West Springfield.  Ulinici was reported missing in the middle of the afternoon, but his body was not recovered by the State Police dive team until Sunday morning.  State troopers and the Massachusetts environmental police assisted Westfield and Southampton police in the search.  Officials say the man had been out in a small boat.  There's no word on the cause of the drowning, but no foul play is suspected.
