Sentencing is scheduled for Friday afternoon for a Westfield man after his conviction on two counts against him in the 2010 boating death of a Ludlow boy. Steven Morse was found guilty on one felony charge of misleading a police officer, and one count of misdemeanor homicide by a vessell. But Morse was acquitted of the more serious charges including manslaughter. Prosecutor Matthew Thomas says he was hoping for a conviction on all charges, but he hopes the trial sends a message to boaters to take care on waterways. Morse face a possible 10 years in prison when he is sentenced in Hampshire Superior Court.
