Randy Travis' ex-wife wants a judge to throw out the star's lawsuit which alleges she tried to sabotage his career.

Travis and his former manager and wife Elizabeth divorced in 2010 and have been embroiled in a bitter court battle since ending their professional relationship last year.

Elizabeth sued her former partner for breach of contract after he allegedly fired her without written notice, prompting Travis to hit back with his own suit, in which he accused her of damaging his career by revealing "personal details" about him.

Now Elizabeth has asked the presiding judge to dismiss the suit, insisting Travis' "intentional interfering" with her job undermined "the effectiveness of his career in the entertainment industry."

She is also requesting damages for lost earnings.
