Celine Dion sued by former employee

Celine Dion has been hit with a lawsuit from a former employee over allegations he is owed overtime pay from 2009.

Keith Sturtevent took legal action against the singer and her husband Rene Angelil on Wednesday, claiming he was hired as a warehouse manager but was labelled an "exempt employee," meaning he was not entitled to overtime under U.S. law.

He adds that he regularly worked 40-plus hour weeks at the couple's home in Florida, running errands for the superstar and her manager husband, as well as completing manual jobs around their estate, according to TMZ.

He is seeking payment for the alleged overtime.
