Leeds Agency Gets Grant for Veterans Assistance

The U.S. Department of Labor is awarding four Massachusetts agencies a total of $800,000 to help homeless veterans get job training and placement assistance.  United Veterans of Leeds is among them, receiving a grant for almost $200,000.  Agencies in Boston and Worcester are also included.  Each agency is to use the money to maximize available assistance in accordance with the Veteran's Administration's five year plan to end homelessness to veterans and their families.
