Anthony Baye has been reindicted on charges of arson and murder in Northampton. A Hampshire County grand jury has issued a 42-count indictment Tuesday against the 27 year old Northampton man. The murder charges stem from the deaths of a man and his son who were killed when their house caught fire in late 2009. Baye is expected to be arraigned Thursday before Judge Constance Sweeney. Last week, the D.A.'s office dropped all but two of the previous indictments against Baye after the state's highest court threw out his taped confession. Prosecutors immediately launched a new investigation, leading to the new charges which date back to fires in 2007.
