Northampton Mayor David Narkewicz is demanding that Secretary of State William Galvin prove he told the city about an important election deadline.  Narkewicz missed a June 1st deadline to get a question about the city's new charter on the November ballot.  Galvin claims he told city officials about the deadline in May, but Narkewicz says that's not true.  Now the mayor has filed a public records request with the Secretary, telling him to cough up copies of the supposed communication.
