Our WHMP Heavy Petting pet of the week is Carol the bunny.  She's a five month old mini rex female bunny, available for adopton at the Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society.  Here's her story:

I am the last baby from my litter of 5.  I am super friendly, and used to being held!  I am looking for a home that has lots of time for me and lots of space to explore! I am young, so I would do well with another rabbit, cat, or dog!  Does your home have room for me?!  Rabbits are curious, fun loving animals who love social interaction and also enjoy playing with toys.  They will run and kick their feet up in the air when they are happy.  Rabbits should eat mostly hay and dark green veggies with pellets making up only a small percentage of their diet.
