Florence Welch has shown off her horsey side and channelled her inner Joan of Arc in a new photoshoot.

Wearing a vintage-style gown and towering high heels, the Florence + the Machine frontwoman is pictured wielding a mediaeval sword as she poses on a black stallion.

The photoshoot, for Vogue magazine, took place to mark Welch's inclusion in the publication's list of the 120 most stylish stars. (ZN/PYN/MJ)
