Friday is the last day to register to vote in the September 6th primary.  People who want to register can do so at their town or city clerk's office.  The election was scheduled the first Thursday of September this year to avoid conflict with Rosh Hashanah and the Democratic National Convention.  Usually the primary is the third Tuesday of September.
