Amherst's new overnight homeless shelter will be expanding after all. The town has annunced that six beds will be added to the Craig's Place homeless shelter for this coming winter.  Shelter officials originally asked for eight more beds, but town officials say space concerns limited the number to six.  It's the first overnight shelter in Amherst's history.
