Greenfield is once again spending money to repair a building problem at the Greenfield Middle School. The Town Council voted last night to spend $75,000 to fix a problem with the building's roof. Councilor Dalton Athey says it's just another example of the town throwing good money after bad at that building, and taxpayers shouldn't have to continue to pay for other's mistakes. Athey believes the repairs are needed because of a faulty design plan. He cast the lone negative vote in last night's 12 to 1 approval.
