The State Fire Marshal, Steven Coan, says the blast that leveled a Springfield strip club Friday was caused by human error. It happened when a worker from Columbia Gas investigating a gas odor accidentally punctured a high-pressure gas line. Now the Department of Public Utilities takes up the investigation. Friday's natural gas explosion destroyed Scores Gentleman's Club, damaged dozens of other buildings, and injured 21 people.
