Churchgoers in West Cummington will inaugurate their new building Sunday. The simple yet energy-efficient house of worship sits on the same footprint as the 1830 church that burned to the ground two years ago. Although congregates miss the historic building, they're happy to have insulation, tight windows and running water in the new edifice. Reports are the new church has amazing acoustics, a plus for the many musicians in the eclectic hill town community.
