Popcorn Noir wil be closing for the Winter on January 15th because of ongoing delays in getting a year-round liquor license. The Easthampton restaurant, bar and entertainment venue now holds a seasonal liquor license that doesn't allow them to sell alcohol from mid-January through the end of March. Popcorn Noir's owners say they've been told by the city that their application for a full-year license will be delayed because of a state licensing matter. Owner Kristen Davis says the shut-down will mean a big loss of revenue for the fledging business, and the loss of several jobs.
