Cardinal Sean O'Malley is calling for a ban on assault weapons in the wake of Friday's tragedy in Connecticut. The Archbishop of Boston made the remarks while serving Catholic mass at Cathedral of the Holy Cross Sunday. O'Malley says the "tragedy of almost biblical proportions" is a clarion call to initiate laws to keep automatic weapons out of the hands of private citizens.
