Breaking News: Schools in Ridgefield CT on Lockdown
Schools in Ridgefield, Connecticut are on lockdown on a report of a suspicious man. Connecticut State Police Lieutenant Paul Vance says local police are handling the situation. There was a report of a suspicious person who may be armed, according to Vance. Ridgefield School Superintendent Deborah Low says as a precaution the town schools have been put into lockdown due to a report of a possibly suspicious person in the Branchville Train station area. She notes Branchville Elementary school buses were diverted to the East Ridge Middle School.
