The Amherst schools are bracing for nearly a million dollars in budget cuts next year.  Superintendent Maria Geryk says some tough decisions will have to be made.  The cuts are due to reductions in state aid, the end of federal stimulus money, higher labor costs, retirement obligations, and more kids attending charter schools.
