It's taken nearly a decade, but a new park and ride lot on the VA campus in Leeds will finally be built.  Officials say construction on the lot is expected to begin sometime next year.  Paving the way was a property easement by the city of Northampton.  The Park and Ride lot will include 75 parking spaces, a sheltered bus stop, and a traffic signal with a cross walk, allowing easy access to the Norwottuck Rail Trail.
