Hampden DA Mark Mastroianni is investigating the apparent suicide of a woman from Agawam who shot herself with a police revolver.  The service weapon belonged to her domestic partner, a Springfield police officer.  The DA says the investigation will focus on whether the officer observed proper gun storage protocol.  Mastroianni emphasized the January 28th incident is not being treated as a homicide.
