A state rep  from Norfolk Mass who's emerging as a Republican candidate for US Senate is a native of Northampton.  Republican State Rep Dan Winslow says he's 99-percent sure he'll run in the upcoming special election for John Kerry's old seat.  He says being from Western Mass, he knows how to get things done with hard work rather than lots of money.
