Greenfield police are searching for a bank robber. A teller at the TD Bank on Main Street in Greenfield found herself face to face with a semi-automatic pistol shortly before noon Sunday. Police say a masked man dressed all in black pointed the gun at the teller and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. It's believed the armed robber got away in a silver or grey SUV. He's described as about 5-foot-8, and slim. State Police from the Shelburne Falls barracks and the Franklin County Sheriff's Department were assisting in the investigation.
