After a three week trial, the fate of accused murderer Cara Rintala is in the hands of the jury. Rintala is accused of strangling her wife to death in the basement of their Granby home in 2010. Prosecutors say Rintala poured paint over her wife Annamarie's body to cover up the crime, then hacked at a door with a shovel to make it look like a break-in. Defense lawyer David Hoose says the evidence is speculative at best. The jury began its deliberations Thursday after lengthy instructions from Judge Mary-Lou Rup.
