What Matters with Rev. Hunter Roberts


W. Hunter Roberts (M.S.W., M. Div.) is an ordained Swedenborgian minister preaching the good news to the church beyond walls: all people who love goodness and seek truth.  Her commentaries and writing explore the meeting of politics, psychology, and religion, where we ask: What are we here for and how should we live? She has taught and published in the fields of psychology and spirituality since the late seventies. Her work has been presented widely, from the International Journal of Humanistic Psychology, the New York Governor’s Task Force on the Status of Women,  the first International Conference on Women and Psychotherapy, and the American Academy of Religion, to the San Francisco City Club and the Huffington Post. Her book on feminist spirituality, Celebrating Her, was published by Pilgrim Press in 1998. She lives in Northampton, MA where she works as a counselor and coach, helping individuals and couples unlock the secrets of their souls.
