The Northampton Community Music Center offers a free demo class of Music Together Within Therapy® (for ages birth to 4 years with parent/caregiver) led by Naomi Edelman on Thursday, December 13th, 2018, 10:00 AM. To RSVP for the free demo class, call 413-585-0001. Because music forges connections in the brain—integrating mind, body, and emotions—it can be beneficial to include music in therapeutic interventions for children with a range of language, cognitive, physical, emotional, social, and neurological needs and impairments. This Music Together Within Therapy demo class will be a preview of the 15 week class scheduled to start in January. Siblings are encouraged to come too.

Naomi Edelman, Board Certified Music Therapist and Certified Music Together Instructor, holds her Masters of Arts in music therapy and mental health counseling. She currently has a private practice specializing with children, and has worked in early childhood music for many years. Naomi has been leading music therapy sessions (individual and groups), early childhood music sessions at daycares and preschool, as well as parent-child music classes for 10 years. She is also an early intervention specialist, working with children with special needs for over 10 years. She currently works part time for REACH early intervention.
She loves working with children, and believes that each child has their own special voice which deserves to be heard. She is very excited to share this new Music Together® Within Therapy class with you and your children!
