More than 375 Easthampton city employees are joining forces to urge residents to support the city’s June 9 override vote. Representatives from schools, police, fire, dispatch, and municipal departments say a failed override could mean cuts to public safety, education, senior services, parks programs, and other city services. Union leaders say employees have already made concessions, but warn significant reductions would still be needed if the measure doesn’t pass.
