New state funding will help expand restroom access inside Amherst’s renovated Jones Library. The project is receiving 50-thousand dollars for gender-neutral bathrooms on the garden level, including eight private stalls. Once construction is complete, every floor will have public restrooms, along with new meeting space, an art gallery and displays of the town’s Civil War tablets.
