Multiple artists across Western Mass have been awarded free rehearsal space at the CitySpace’s Blue Room in Easthampton. It’s all part of a Pay it Forward program offered to artists across the region to practice and perform from July to December 2023.  Seventeen artists received access to the blue room as well as stipends for public performance and events.  One on one coaching will also be available.  Artists chosen range from actors, theater artists, playwrights, comedians, and dance instructors.     The space is located in Old Town Hall in Easthampton, which has been undergoing updates. The $6.9 million restoration project is to create affordable space for arts organizations and creative businesses in one location in Easthampton’s Main Street Historic District.
