Mike Wilk simply walked away. In Springfield, a rising star who in less than a year was promoted to detective was fired to reposting her niece’s support of the Black Lives Matter movement. Florissa Fuentes said she received a lot of hostility from fellow officers for the repost on her personal social media account. Springfield Mayor Dominic Sarno was also displeased.
