The region’s Opioid Task Force and Sheriff’s Office have been awarded nearly 10 million dollars in federal grants. The funding will support overdose prevention, expand treatment options in rural communities, and help inmates continue receiving addiction care after their release. Officials announced the grants Friday at the Franklin County Justice Center in Greenfield.
