The Gill-Montague school district is changing how it tackles academic performance concerns at several schools. Under a new agreement with the teachers union, instructional leadership teams will work to improve student achievement, particularly among students with disabilities. Three district schools have been identified by the state as needing additional assistance. The new teams will coordinate teaching strategies across schools, with participating educators receiving two-thousand-dollar stipends already included in the budget.
