Turners Falls Municipal Airport is getting a major upgrade

Turners Falls Municipal Airport is getting a major upgrade with more than five million dollars in FAA funding. The project will replace aging pavement, improve drainage and lighting, and realign taxiways at the Pioneer Aviation property. Construction is expected to begin in March of 2027 and take about eight weeks.
