Amherst’s Jones Library renovation is moving into its final stretch, with the $46.1 million project on track to wrap up next spring. Crews are finishing a new slate roof on the historic 1928 building, installing replica windows and making progress on the new addition. The expansion will increase the library from 48,000 to 63,000 square feet, with reopening planned for spring 2027.
