Easthampton is launching a new city electricity program this fall aimed at giving residents more predictable power costs. Easthampton Community Electricity begins in October with three supply options, including a 100-percent renewable plan. Eversource customers on Basic Service will be automatically enrolled in the standard option, but can opt out anytime without a penalty..
