Drivers in Amherst will see road work on a number of major and neighborhood streets over the next several months. The town is putting nearly $4 million into paving and resurfacing, with work targeting areas including Main Street, North Pleasant Street, Middle Street and Market Hill Road. Construction begins this fall, resumes in the spring if needed, and is expected to wrap up by the end of June.
