Several Franklin and Hampshire County communities are sharing in a new round of state money for parks and land conservation. Local awards include projects in Belchertown, Southampton, Williamsburg, Ashfield, Conway, Wendell and Orange. The funding ranges from about $48,000 for recreation improvements in Belchertown to $400,000 for Mass Audubon to protect more than 200 acres in Wendell.
