Greenfield’s Water and Sewer Rates Increasing

Greenfield residents will pay more for water and sewer service starting January first. Both usage rates are going up nine percent, raising water to five dollars and 19 cents and sewer to eight dollars and 73 cents per 100 cubic feet. City officials say the increase will help cover aging infrastructure, emergency preparation and new public works equipment.
