New Deputy Fire Chief In Hadley Announced

A leadership change is underway at the Hadley Fire Department. Robert Flaherty has left his role as Hatfield’s fire chief to become Hadley’s new deputy chief, bringing more than 20 years of emergency service experience. His arrival comes as Chief Mike Spanknebel prepares to retire and the town moves to hire three additional full-time firefighters.
