For the first time in about 40 years, a new structure is going up at the Franklin County Fairgrounds. The Franklin County Agricultural Society has broken ground on a 5,400-square-foot open-air pavilion in Greenfield, designed as a shaded place for people to eat, rest and gather. It’s expected to be ready by the end of July, ahead of September’s fair.
