Easthampton’s opposition to a proposed Southampton cell tower was at the center of last night’s Planning Board hearing. The Easthampton City Council has unanimously opposed Verizon’s proposed 165-foot tower on Cook Road, saying neighbors near the town line could be affected by property values, neighborhood character and quality of life concerns.
