The Planning Board has opened a new hearing on a 5-megawatt project proposed for Breckenridge Road, even as a lawsuit over the earlier denial is still pending. Neighbors raised concerns about noise, fire safety, wildlife, and the site’s location near homes, farmland, and a playground. The developer says the system would be contained, quiet, and safe. The hearing continues August 18th.
