Nearly a year after a massive fire displaced 230 people in Amherst, investigators are still trying to determine what sparked the blaze. State officials are examining material from the Olympia Drive construction site where the fire began last November. Both properties remain fenced off, but the developer could resume construction at the original site. Rebuilding the neighboring Olympia Place would require new permits.
