Westfield schools are taking a new approach to limiting social media during the school day. The district is rolling out an app called Doorman that blocks platforms like TikTok, Snapchat and Instagram, while still allowing calls and texts. Students who don’t use the app will have to store phones in pouches. The district says the system protects privacy, though some parents and students are raising concerns.
